How to stay warm in style

Brrrr… it’s getting cold in here. The temperature’s dropped with the new year, there’s frost on the ground and it’s definitely winter coat weather. We’ve gone one better and picked out some perfect coats, jumpers and cardigans to keep you toasty.

Read on for cold-weather heroes…

This Karin Paul felt and wool-blend coat comes in two totally classic shades and has a great, wearable shape. This is the kind of hero coat you can throw on over any outfit without wondering if it’ll work.

This Manon Baptiste cardigan is the perfect piece to keep at work for when it’s particularly cold and you regret your outfit choice. The open front keeps it casual, and, if you ask us, leopard print goes with everything.

When temperatures really drop, there’s just nothing better than bundling up in a big padded coat. This red number from Sophia Curvy isn’t just an absolutely brilliant colour, but the added detail like the ribbed sleeves and the wide neckline take it a step above your usual casual coat.

Knitwear doesn’t have to be bulky. This weave-knit style from Samya keeps a touch of elegance with its longer length, and the cream colour is really pretty. It’ll look great with dark skinny trousers, and slip a pale vest underneath if you need extra warmth.

This pastel-perfect coat by navabi Collection is fit for a princess. It wouldn’t look out of place on Jackie Kennedy, and we’re wild about it. This coat will add a dash of glamour to any outfit with its gently A-line shape and shiny buttons.

At the other end of the spectrum is this fun sweater from Miss Y by Yoek with its sequins and patches. It’s great for days when you want to give your outfit a cute little twist but it’s just too dark and cold to make full effort.

Let’s finish off with a classic. This grey coat will be an asset to your wardrobe year after year and will help you feel a little more put-together even when it’s cold outside. The longer length will keep you wrapped up warm as well as giving it a smart touch.
